Barely two months after its successful launch of the G50 MPV, Maxus Philippines will be adding a compact SUV to their line-up. It is confirmed: the Ayala-led exclusive importer and distributor will bring in the 2021 D60 compact SUV.
The D60 will join its growing lineup of the T60 pick-up, the G10 9-seater MPV, the V80 van, and G50 MPV. The addition of this new stylish compact SUV (available in 7-seater configuration) signals Maxus Philippines’ intention to become a serious and aggressive competitor in the SUV market.
Bold and dynamic, the Maxus D60 fits the active, urban lifestyle of young professionals and growing families that will not only cater to their everyday transport needs, but also suit the modern trend that will surely make heads turn. Priced within the subcompact SUV range with low maintenance costs, the new Maxus D60 will, no doubt, bring happiness on the road to ‘Max levels’.
Maxus Philippines has yet to reveal any of the D60’s specs, but in China, it comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine making 169 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The sole transmission is a 7-speed dual clutch automatic. Among its key features include a 12.3-inch full LCD digital instrument panel, a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, and the aforementioned 7-seater configuration.
Why are they so obsessed with dual clutch transmissions? Not really good for our traffic situation.
ReplyDeleteEfficient for motorway use since most of China is now full of motorways
