After showing it off as a design concept, Nissan is almost ready to unveil its B-segment SUV: the Magnite. But before that though, the carmaker just had to prove its mettle.
Check out the video below as the Magnite goes through its paces at the Nissan Tochigi Proving Ground—the same place where vehicles such as the Nissan GT-R and Ariya have been tested.
Designed in Japan, but engineered to meet the requirement of Indian customers, the Magnite is Nissan’s newest sub-four-meter SUV. It promises to be a “feature-rich premium offering, with stylish design and strong, dynamic road presence.”
Leveraging Nissan’s global SUV heritage and advanced Japanese technologies, the Nissan Magnite is a true reflection of the 'Nissan-ness' philosophy of empowering people through breakthrough products and technologies.
With an array of best-in-class and first-in-class features, the Nissan Magnite delivers on all four of Nissan's key pillars – bold exteriors, interiors, technology, and performance.
The Magnite is one of eight new models confirmed by Nissan for the AMI (Africa, Middle East, and India) region. No announcement has been made yet as to its export plans, or whether it will be offered in other regions as well.
The refreshed Nissan Terra has been confirmed by the Japanese carmaker to launch first in AMI as well.
