Still waiting to get your Autosweep RFID or EasyTrip RFID? No need to panic if you can’t get one beyond December 1, 2020, says the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
With the DOTr mandating the shift to cashless payment at toll roads surrounding Metro Manila, long queues and buggy appointment systems have caused frustration with the two electronic toll collection providers. That said, the DOTr reiterates that the December 1 deadline simply means a move to full cashless transactions. RFID installation will continue beyond December 1.
The DOTr reiterates that the installation of RFID stickers will continue as a regular program for first-time motorists, new cars, or anyone who will use any tollway for the first time even after December 1. The deadline set by the government agency only signifies the start of the implementation of full cashless transactions at expressways.
Earlier, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), an attached agency of the DoTr which supervises the operations of toll roads, said the MPTC and SMC are equipped and are ready to implement the DoTr order and have likewise respectively extended the installation of RFID stickers beyond November 2, 2020.
Further, according to the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) set by the TRB, Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Tag or RFID installation/registration and account reloading/balance verification stations shall be set up in various strategic areas and locations. This can be accessed at all entries to expressways as well as other sites such as convenience stores, malls, online stores, banks, and even electronic wallets.
The TRB has also directed stakeholders to ensure the fast and convenient installation of the RFID stickers by reducing the needed documents to a bare minimum, offering free installation services, and providing an initial minimum toll fee load requirement for activation of the motorist’s account. The load shall have no expiration as well.
So, if you are a vehicle owner and a frequent road user, you should keep in mind that the December 1 deadline only marks the start of cashless transactions at the tollways, but does not mean the end of RFID sticker installations. There is no need to panic.
Having said that, if you plan to enter any expressway after the deadline without the appropriate RFID installed, you will be fined and ticketed.
For the convenience of motorists (aka their customers), they should push on providing more and more and again more installation, outlets in Malls, subdivision sites, etc. to accommodate the sheer volume of applicants.
ReplyDeleteThe most practical solution. Correct! Offer both north and south RFID stickers in all sm malls
DeleteYes, the best and convenient way is they should put up dealership on all gasoline station so you can buy the rfid sticker as you fuel up.
DeleteLegal Syndicate no available slot till January 2021 for appointment but you can buy appointment for 2000 pesos
Deletei have been trying to get an appointment in several installation service areas but schedules are filled up...what do i do?any suggestions?
DeleteThere should be a consideration for us passing NLEX/SLEX after December 1 not be be fined or ticketed if we are unable to find BOOKING before December 1. It's not our fault if there's no available date and time and if they cannot accommodate everyone before the said date. We can show our schedule date and they should be aware of this scenario
ReplyDeletei missed my reference number can i dtill be accomodated?
ReplyDeleteMalls as well as City Centers as well as City and Municipal Halls. MPTC & SMC should and must consider convenience and accessibility to motorists by.
ReplyDeleteYes it would be easy if they will imposed to other nearby Malls or Authorized Gas Stations within or outside Metro Manila to cater all those motorist who doesn't have an RFID especially in SLEX. This would help to speed up the distribution of RFID sticker and motorist may visit the nearby malls or gas station. They will allot atleast max.of 200 to 300 RFID stickers for each location per day as suggested. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThey should provide installation outlet at ALL gas station in metro manila and around the city.
ReplyDeleteYes...provide more installation sites within metro manila and not along the express way toll gates...tapos titiketan nyo kami kung ala kaming rfid?...ive tried to get an appointment with autosweep but dates from nov 10 to 30, are no longer available...minsan d makapasok sa kanilang website for appointment...MERON NA AKONG EASYTRIP...SANA PAGISAHIN NA LNG NILA...DOTR PLS LOOK INTO THIS...THANKS
ReplyDeleteSame here
DeleteAutosweep online registration is a pain. I was able to register on December 5 and then again on December 12 as I did not receive any email confirmation number. Still have not received one till now. When I check again the site the only available slots are after January. Di ba ang galing nila? ðŸ˜
ReplyDeleteYes, I also did it received any email confirmation ang hassle
DeleteI was able to get an appointment for RFID stickering on Dec.2 and Dec. 3, at the Filinvest Tollgate. However, I live in Laa Piñas and I have to ENTER SLEX at Sucat to get to the Filinvest tollgate which is after the Filinvest exit. Will I be fined upon entering Sucat? How do go about this without being fined?

ReplyDeleteMaybe take the service road instead?
ReplyDeleteI am from Pangasinan what is the nearest for me to get RFID stickers smc and mptc pls. Reply
ReplyDeleteTap all major gas stations for appointment and have train personnel to do it. This will definitely help motorist the inconvenience of traveling only to a few appointed centers.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is they should produce more sticker and more people to install the sticker.so that no more long cues and no more cutoff time.motorists are willing to follow but if there is no more sticker, and only 1 person is installing.thats the start to pile up the line
ReplyDeleteBring it to the people to all brgys or to all gasoline stations malls etc..
ReplyDeleteSMC must provide more Autosweep RFID installation outlets at all Petron Gas Station.
ReplyDeleteVery difficult to connect to the given website and all dates of November are already occupied..suggest to install an outlets in all malls..gasoline stations...for RFID installation
ReplyDeletepaano kami makakabitan ng rfid after dec.
Basta make sure na may appointment kayo with your respective installation sites (tolls or Kiosks) para bago kayo lumabas ng toll exit nyo meron na kayong RFID sticker.
DeleteMag issue na Easytrip ng online thru shoppee & lazada, how about starting now, hello! . . . mahilig mkipag sabayan, sayang na oras, sayang pa sa gasolina, krudo sa pila, tensiyon pa, hay naku, and please, do the math naman, per station sabihin mo nang 100 malalagyan, x 100 stations/ day, 10k. 12.7million vehicles, will take 1,270 days! kailangan at hindi 30 days! hay naku, mga einstein talaga, example lang ito ,pkease do the math naman, exaple lang ito, idont have the correct figures.
ReplyDeleteHindi nagrereply ng email sa application ko noon pang November 7 pa.Pahirap ho i follow up ang application ko?
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't the government just move the Dec 1 deadline since there are still issues on the readiness of both implementation machineries and people/offices expected to comply? There is also the Christmas rush to reckon with as well as pandemic conditions that are still quite restrictive, not to mention, successive typhoons. This suggestion shall mean efficiency in implementation. 2021 is just around the corner anyway.
ReplyDeleteI think they should extend the deadline because there are millions of vehicles plying in and out of metro manila maybe until next year in order for them to accommodate all the vehicles
ReplyDeletePwede ho ba suggest.every town or city lagyan ng installer pra di lahat ng car owners ay dadagsa sa iisang venue lng..tulad ho dto sa sm lucena.sched nov 14,but suddenly on nov 4 need daw e online registration.na di nmn alam ng karamihan.so full agad ang mga slots.
ReplyDeleteThe link for online appointments isn't working anymore.. any other ways aside from lining up?
ReplyDeletePwede bang to all municipalities eh lagyan nila ng booth easytrip and autosweep para mas convinience
ReplyDeleteNo need to panic? All appointments availability are way beyond the deadline of Dec 1. As if 3k is a small amount of money
ReplyDeleteHow about those who are in the provinces?
ReplyDeleteWhy bother pushing the people to register online when there are no more available slots? Why not put the installation of rfid in accessible areas like malls and gasoline stations, in that way everybody can avail and better remove the online if you can't give slots.
ReplyDeleteHow can you install RFID at locations inside SLEX, STAR, etc if you can't enter those highways on Dec 1 onwards?
ReplyDeleteTrue
ReplyDeleteAs of this writing,Nov 20, 2020. no more available slots (South route) until Jan 19, 2021.
ReplyDeleteSo ibig sabihin yun mga walang rfid, its either mag long route (if there's any) o mag bayad fine, ng dahil sa limited capacity ng implementing bodies na mag accommodate.? c'mon. Stupidity at its finest.
But when you clicked on January 19 or succeeding dates after that..onwards....response is date is not available.
DeleteHow to book kaya?
Yes it is
DeleteCorrect ka dyan pren
DeleteKorek
DeletePlease move the deadline. We have been trying to book tirelessly since Nov 4 however all slots in all areas are already filled. Also please have more distribution areas within Tagaytay area not only on tollgates but maybe within city gas stations / malls. GUSTO NAMEN KUMUHA NG RFID PERO PAANO? BAKIT NINYO KAME TITIKITAN KUNG DI NAMEN KASALANAN NA KAUNTI AT PUNO NA YUNG DISTRIBUTION SITES NINYO?!
ReplyDeleteActually I tried to book and look for dates na available. Up to March 2025 is not available!!!. Can't they allow to put some sense into this installation of RFID's.? Pinahihirapan nila car owners. You thought that online booking is easy and more convenient? This is good if working properly. S via online.O difficult to get a date
ReplyDeleterfid on line application is not working, everytime i put the date its already not available, how to apply online
ReplyDeleterfid on line application is not working, everytime i put the date its already not available, how to apply online
ReplyDeletePahirap etong patakaran
ReplyDeleteAng hirap talaga
