The newest player in the Philippines, Changan Motor Philippines has finally revealed the pricing of their five launch models.
Counted among China’s Top 4 auto brands, Changan is entering the Philippines with a total of 39 planned dealerships, 15 among them considered as their pioneering dealer partners.
They are also bringing in five models: the Alsvin sub-compact sedan, CS35Plus compact crossover, CS75Plus compact SUV, CS95 mid-sized SUV, and the all-electric Eado EV460.
The lone passenger car is the Changan Alsvin—a sub-compact sedan. It is offered in three variants: an entry-level 1.4-liter M/T with 100 horsepower and 130 Nm, and two variants of the 1.5-liter 5-speed DCT automatic with 107 horsepower and 145 Nm. Key features include leather seats, a sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot and rear cameras.
Moving up, there’s the CS35Plus compact crossover. This one is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 158 horsepower and 235 Nm. The sole transmission is a 7-speed DCT automatic. Features include a passive entry with push-button start/stop, panoramic sunroof, blind spot and rear cameras, remote engine start, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, and more.
For those who want something a bit sportier, there’s the CS75Plus with its 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with 178 horsepower and 265 Nm. This sporty compact SUV uses a 6-speed automatic. This one has a push-start system, a CN95 air filtration system, driver-selectable modes, cruise control, 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, and more.
For those needing seven seats, there’s the CS95. This 7-seater mid-sized SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 232 horsepower and 360 Nm. The gearbox is a 6-speed automatic. Features include a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen for its infotainment, 10-inch fully-digital gauge cluster, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree high-definition camera, and more.
All Changan vehicles will come with a 5-year / 150,000-kilometer warranty along with free PMS for one-year or 20,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), as well as a 60-minute PMS guarantee, 100 percent parts guarantee, emergency roadside assistance, and a 24/7 technical and parts chat bot called CAIA.
