Despite the prevailing promos surrounding its 30th anniversary, Honda Cars Philippines announced a surprise price increase effective this month. The increase, according to the Japanese carmaker, is due to increased importation cost.
You can check out the official letter circulated to dealers and customers below (as well as the new SRPs), but Honda Cars Philippines says they’ve managed to absorb as much of these costs. That said, they had no choice but to increase the SRP on selected models by 0.4 percent. Suffice to say, the recently launched 2021 City and 2021 CR-V are not affected:

- Honda Civic RS Turbo AT – P 1,615,000 (Old Price: P 1,608,000)
- Honda HR-V 1.8 E – P 1,296,000 (Old Price: P 1,295,000)
- Honda HR-V 1.8 RS – P 1,515,000 (Old Price: P 1,508,000)
- Honda Jazz 1.5 VX Navi CVT – P 1,000,000 (Old Price: P 933,000)
