In what seemed like a last-minute move, the organizers of the Tokyo Auto Salon have decided to cancel its annual event.
Japan’s largest tuning and aftermarket auto show was supposed to take place from January 15 to 17, 2021 at Makuhari Messe. However, due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the organizers have opted to cancel it to limit social contact and avoid gathering.
From a physical show, Tokyo Auto Salon will instead go online with a Virtual Auto Salon which opens on January 15 at 9 AM. More details will be announced closer to the event dates.
