In the new normal, motorcycles have never been more popular and in-demand than ever. With quarantine guidelines still implemented nationwide, it helped Filipinos ride solo and steer clear of the pandemic’s dangers.
For Filipinos who need to travel to work, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s number one motorcycle manufacturer has come up with this: the new TMX125 Alpha.
Known for its durability and reliability, the new TMX125 Alpha is equipped with both kick and electric starter for convenience. With its manageable dimensions—1,904 mm long, 754 mm wide, and 1,026 mm high (seat height is at 759 mm), it’s approachable for every Filipino rider.
The new TMX125 Alpha is powered by Honda’s legendary Overhead Valve (OHV) engine, making it unique compared to other motorcycles. This 125-cc OHV uses a pushrod to balance acceleration and control for hours of easy and hassle-free operation, while remaining fuel efficient achieving 62.5 km/L at 45 km/h (constant speed). And to meet the customers’ requirement for best balance of engine power and acceleration, the rear sprocket has been improved from 44T to 38T making it perfect for daily commuting.
Of course, style doesn’t need to give way to practicality. The TMX125 Alpha comes with a Café Racer inspired design and has features such as automatic headlights, an easy-to-read instrument meter panel, 18-inch tires, and a maintenance-free battery. It also comes in a variety of standout colors such as Candy Ruby Red and Black. Honda has also added a new premium color—Matte Armored Silver Metallic.
The new Honda TMX125 Alpha is now available at all Honda motorcycle dealerships nationwide with a suggested retail price of P 51,400.
