Mercedes-Benz Philippines brings in the newest member of the AMG family: the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC. It is a high-performance and passionate, yet exceptionally practical in that it seats seven people.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that offers 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. As soon as you take the wheel and press the pedal, the quickness and agility stand out. AMG DYNAMIC SELECT offers five drive programs: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual. The modes modify key parameters, such as the response of the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering.
Together with that power, the performance-oriented AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system continuously ensures the best possible ratio of dynamism, traction, and efficiency. It also bears the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8-speed transmission for a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 5.2 seconds, and a top speed of 250 km/h.
And while performance is at its core, the GLB 35 also has the looks to show it. The AMG genes of the GLB 35 4MATIC are clearly recognizable at first sight. It boasts the AMG-specific radiator trim, 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, AMG roof spoiler, AMG high-performance brake system with silver brake calipers and black AMG lettering at the front. The striking AMG rear apron with two round tailpipe trim and the TURBO 4MATIC lettering on the front wings ensure that this compact SUV is not only sporty but self-assured on the road, just like the rest of the AMG family.
Stepping inside the new GLB 35, everything points to a sporty theme, from the three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel in Nappa leather to the sports seats in black ARTICO Dinamica microfiber upholstery. The flat bottom of the steering wheel with perforated grip area and the Touch Control buttons ensure that performance and driving enjoyment go hand in hand in the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC.
The AMG instrument cluster is the perfect partner for sporty drivers too. Its valuable information is presented in the AMG menu in thrilling AMG design. The center console with AMG-specific hand comforter and integral buttons to control manual transmission mode, and AMG Ride Control suspension, a key feature that provides superior performance in everyday driving.
The new Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC exhibits an all-digital instrument cluster and media displays. It comes with intuitively operable MBUX infotainment system that features a 10.25-inch display and innovative voice control. It has Smartphone Integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and carries a Burmester surround sound system. And throughout the interior, there are USB charging sockets, stowage compartments, and ambient lighting with 64 colors.
The AMG GLB 35 4MATIC comes with a full suite of safety features as well as some driver assist features. It comes standard with the Parking Package with Active Parking Assist.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG 35 4MATIC is priced at P 5.690 million.
