Motorcycle riders and big bike enthusiasts looking for a unique offering with high performance and technology are in luck as Honda Philippines, the country’s number one motorcycle brand launches the all-new X-ADV.
The X-ADV breaks ground in that it combines the capabilities and performance of an adventure motorcycle, with the comfort, convenience, and commuting agility of a large-capacity scooter.
It comes with a 745-cc parallel-twin, 8-valve SOHC liquid-cooled engine generating 58 horsepower and 68.7 Nm at 4,750 rpm. The Euro 5 compliant engine does up to 28.3 km/L thanks to its 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
Other updates include throttle-by-wire, improved front and rear disc brakes with ABS, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), an optimized upside-down front fork, and smart key with Electronic Steering Lock (ESL),
The X-ADV comes with a 5-inch TFT full-LCD digital meter with Honda Smartphone Voice Control System or HSVCS. The HSVCS lets user connect their smartphone via Bluetooth using the Honda Road Sync application, and an intercom with Bluetooth capability. It can let users access navigation systems, create texts or messages, listen to music, and check the weather via voice command, allowing riders to use their phones without having to take it out.
The 2021 X-ADV comes in three colors: Graphite Black, Matte Beta Silver Metallic, and Grand Prix Red. It’s priced at P 830,000 and is now available at all Honda Big Bike dealerships nationwide.
