Last year, Foton Motor Philippines launched the TM300—a small light-duty truck powered by a class-exclusive diesel engine under its Gratour sub-brand. This year, one of the country’s best-selling automotive brands has decided to bring it into their main line, re-branding it as the Foton Harabas TM300.
Sporting a tough and durable body and frame, the Harabas TM300 is capable of tough logistics operations and mobility challenges from essential goods delivery, passenger transportation, mobile concept stores, and bulk cargo moving. Thanks to a reinforced steel chassis, it has a maximum payload capacity of up to 1.1 tons.
It’s powered by a 2.2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine with outputs of 87 horsepower at 3,200 rpm and 220 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.
“Strong from both outside and within, the Foton Harabas TM300 has the strength to shoulder tough logistics needs every day. We are gladly presenting it to our hardworking fellow Filipinos who are finding ways to innovate and succeed during this prolonged pandemic,” says Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI), Rommel Sytin.
The Foton Harabas TM300 offers driving comfort and convenience with its ergonomically designed cabin with ten storage compartments and commodiously designed seats.
Flexibility is a strong point of the Foton Harabas TM300, with its wide array of customizable bodies that can be configured as a Dropside, an F-Van, a Ref Van, or an MPV.
Bolstered by a strong steel plate flatbed sheet, the Foton Harabas TM300 Dropside can hold 100 kilograms of goods, enabling it to function as transportation for Lipat Bahay services, glass and steel manufacturing, LPG deliveries, bigas delivery truck and even serve as cargo mover for the needs of local government units.
Boasting a wide interior to fit a large number of products in its closed-van storage, the Foton Harabas TM300 F-Van is suitable as a vegetable and fruit truck, lipat-bahay truck, cargo delivery truck, or as company and barangay delivery service that requires a secure and durable logistics vehicle. Enhanced accessibility and security come with its side door secured by mechanical locks.
The Foton Harabas TM300 MPV, meanwhile, comes with a wide interior with cargo-convertible seats that make it even more versatile. Flexible as a multi-service vehicle with its 16-seater capacity, it can function as a company shuttle, cargo delivery truck, barangay service, or as a patrol unit with an easily accessible entrance through its two lockable rear doors.
Innovating new adaptable solutions for new mobility challenges, the Foton Harabas TM300 Wing Van presents a unique solution to your business and government requirements, featuring 3 large lift-up doors. It can be a mobile concept store such as a mobile kitchen, mobile palengke, mobile tindahan, and can also be a logistics vehicle useful for the rainy season with its swing-up doors that can serve as an extended roof.
Embodying the resiliency embedded within Filipinos, the Foton Harabas TM300 suits the reliable vehicle for the daily drive with multiple usages that many have been looking for.
