Honda Launches New XRM125 Motorcycle with Prices Starting at P 67.9k

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the number one motorcycle brand in the country introduces the all-new XRM125—a tougher, more durable, and more versatile underbone motorcycle that will captivate the riding public once more.

Immediately noticeable on the new XRM125 is the headlight’s modern design. Taking cues from the CRF150L, it’s more assertive than ever. From there, it strikes a more modern image with its masculine body shape and new stripe design on its cover. An added protection in the under-cowl area takes it more apt for commuting on Philippine roads.

The XRM125 features an easy-to-read digital speedometer, perfect to announce the performance of its air-cooled 125-cc four-stroke SOHC engine making 7.12 kw (9.68 horsepower) at 7,500 rpm and 9.55 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Paired with a four-speed constant mesh gearbox, this bike can do up to 65.4 km/L. With a 3.9-liter fuel tank, it can go upwards of 250 kilometers in a single go.

The XRM125 Dual Sport variant offers the confident stopping power of front discs and rear drums, while the rest of the line-up goes with discs on both ends.

The all-new XRM125 comes in three variants. The aforementioned Dual Sport—perfect for off- or unpaved roads is priced at P 67,900 and comes in distinct colors such as Dark Green, Fighting Red, and two new colors—Ceramic Gray and Aura Blue.

Meanwhile, the XRM125 Dual Sport Extreme (DSX)—in its Black color is priced at P 71,400, while the XRM125 Motard in Fighting Red is priced at P 73,600.

“The All-New XRM125 unleashes the true potential of dual-sports motorcycle riding. Riders can only expect to experience versatility and toughness to help them face any riding environment. With an all-new design and improved features reflecting its toughness and durability, Filipino riders can experience the joy of mobility to the fullest,” said HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi.

XRM125 is a unique motorcycle model made exclusively in the Philippines. Since its production in December 2001, the total production volume has reached over 1.83 million units.
