Hyundai PH Says No DTI Safeguard Tax Until April 15.

Other carmakers may be increasing their prices, or at least slapping a cash bond in response to the DTI’s safeguard bond, but one carmaker has gone the other way and said #ZeroSafeguardTax prices. That carmaker is Hyundai.

Until April 15, 2021, the Korean carmaker is holding steady on the prices of its three most popular vehicles: the Hyundai Kona, Hyundai Grand Starex, and the Hyundai Reina.

In fact, all are being offered with huge cash discounts, low downpayments, or light monthly payments with their Fast-Forward Drive promo. The Kona gets a lown downpayment of P 35,640, the Grand Starex gets cash discounts of up to P 290,000, and the Hyundai Reina has monthly payments as low as P 5,921.

“As the economy continues to open and recover, Hyundai’s Fast Forward Drive gives customers all the more reason to get the Hyundai vehicle well-suited to their mobility needs. We want them to get back on track, pursue their goals, and bring them one step closer to their dreams.” HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said.
