Mitsubishi PH Sales Grew 44 Percent in February


Despite fewer selling days in February, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recorded a solid 44 percent increase versus January 2021.

The entire second month of the year, the number two carmaker sold a total of 5,072 units. The Xpander MPV led the charge with 2,003 unit sold translating to a 70 percent increase versus January. This also makes it the best-selling 7-seater MPV in the country.

Meanwhile, the Mirage G4 had the strongest rebound as it generated a 94 percent upturn with its 1,078 output. The proudly Filipino made and highly reliable business vehicle partner, Mitsubishi L300 contributed 947 units to reinforce the strong February showing of MMPC.
The rest of the breakdown is as follows:
  • Mitsubishi Mirage – 9 units
  • Mitsubishi Mirage G4 – 1,078 units
  • Mitsubishi Xpander (including Xpander Cross) – 2,003 units
  • Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – 2 units
  • Mitsubishi Montero Sport – 607 units
  • Mitsubishi Strada – 426 units
  • Mitsubishi L300 – 947 units
