When you buy a Subaru, you’re not the only one that’s safe; your wallet is safe—safe from the DTI’s safeguard tariff, that is.
Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles says that all fifteen (15) of its outlets nationwide still have enough stocks until the end of March as not to be affected by the DTI Safeguard Bond. They are inviting would-be customers to inquire, visit, or test drive any of their vehicles to take advantage of this opportunity.
At this time, all cash discounts, promos (including the free GT Lite kit for the Forester 2.0i-L EyeSight) offered by Subaru on all its models shall remain, as well as the standard 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.
After this month though, the situation is still up in the air. According to their press release, it’s likely that they’ll be asking for an additional cash bond, similar to the move done by Toyota, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, and Honda.
