Want to keep your classic car during the EV shift? Everrati Automotive can certainly help. The U.K. company has unveiled the Signature—their new flagship wide body model based off a 1991 Porsche 911 964.
Everrati strips out the Porsche 911’s internals and in its place is a 500 horsepower, 500 Nm of torque electric motor that drives the rear wheels. The company reckons it can do a sub-4-second 0 to 100 km/h time, and overall range is pegged at about 240 kilometers.
The EV motor conversion aside, Everrati will strip and restore the Porsche 911 964 donor car to “concours standards.” It will also be seam-welded, strengthened, and refabricated to “better-than-new standards.”
They can even place the original engine and gearbox into a glass gable or box.
Then, Everrati moves to lightened the car. The steel front, and rear flanks and engine cover are replaced with carbon fiber parts. Ditto the doors and roof, although in the case of the former, it incorporates high-strength steel for side impact protection.
Underneath, the Signature retains the car’s aluminum rear trailing suspension arms, which are refurbished to new, with all bushes and drop-links fully uprated. Buyers can also choose between two suspension systems including one that has adaptive dampers. Brembo brakes—drilled and ventilated are found at all corners.
Inside, Everrati installs “Porsche-inspired” gauges and a modern infotainment system via the Porsche Classic Communications Management. This gives the Signature Bluetooth and even Apple CarPlay.
This is not the first classic car conversion done by Everrati. They have already done EV conversions of the Mercedes-Benz SL and the Land Rover Defender, too. The company says deliveries of the Signature starts in late 201. The price? It starts at £250,000 or around P 16.93 million, and this is based on the condition of the donor car.
