Isuzu Philippines Corporation is recalling selected units of its Traviz light-duty truck due to an issue with its turbocharger oil pipe.
Affecting 1,846 units of the Traviz produced between January to October 2020, Isuzu has determined that the turbocharger oil pipe may possibly experience vibration during normal driving that could result in a crack developing over time.
The recall (aka service campaign) will have Isuzu inspect and replace the turbocharger oil pipe with an improved design. The improved turbocharger oil pipe includes the installation of a bracket to increase its rigidity.
The inspection and replacement can be done at any authorized Isuzu dealership, and will be at no cost to the owner. Isuzu Traviz owners will be contacted with an Official Notification Letter.
