IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG have launched the IWC Pilot Chronograph Edition AMG—the latest timepiece that celebrates their long-time partnership that started in 2004.
The IWC Pilot Chronograph Edition AMG (Ref. IW377903) is the first IWC Pilot Chronograph in titanium. The automotive engineering material has made the 43-mm extremely lightweight and scratch-resistant. The Grade 5 titanium finish has also lent the watch a matte gray appearance, inspired by Mercedes-AMG’s Selenite Grey Magno paint.
The dials feature precisely-woven carbon fiber contrasting with the silver chronograph sub-dials.
The IWC Pilot Chronograph Edition AMG is powered by the in-house IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre movement enabling a stop time measurement of up to 12 hours. This movement is visible through the tinted sapphire crystal case back, emblazoned with the Mercedes-AMG logo.
The timepiece is fitted with a black embossed calf leather strap with contrasting stitching and folding clasp.
The IWC Pilot Chronograph Edition AMG is available for preorders starting today through IWC boutiques and authorized retail partners. The timepiece is eligible for the My IWC care program which adds a 6-year extension to the standard 2-year international limited warranty.
