After about a month’s delay, Honda Philippines has announced that its much-anticipated PCX160 is now available at its authorized dealers nationwide.
The PCX160 comes in two variants—a combi-brake variant which retails for P 115,900, and an ABS-equipped variant for P 133,900. The CBS variant comes in two colors: Matte Dim Gray Metallic and Pearl Fadeless White, while the ABS variant comes in Asteroid Black Metallic and Pearl Fadeless White.
Both versions of the PCX160 comes with a new 157-cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled SOHC engine that generates 16 horsepower. Thanks to its idling stop system (ISS), it can achieve up to 45.1 km/L.
The PCX160 also comes with LED head- and taillights, wider tubeless tires for improved handling and safety, and a twin shock rear suspension for smoother rides. It also as a full digital meter panel for improved legibility.
It also has a 30-liter utility box for storage with a USB-type power outlet for convenient gadget charging. It also has a smart key system with anti-theft.
“At Honda Philippines, we share the same love for motorcycles as Filipinos do. The All-New PCX160 will not only embody our love for motorcycles but will also take motorcycle riding in the country to the next level,” HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi said.
