Starting strong with 15 dealerships just two months after the brand launch in November 2019, Chery Auto remained aggressive, evident in its fully operational 19 dealerships across the country to date.

“A strong and accessible dealer network has been one of the brand’s top priorities from the start. We have excellent products and the fastest way to get them to market and into people’s awareness is by bringing the product to them, wherever they are,” said Chery Auto Philippines President Rommel Sytin.

The brand expects to close 2021 with a full complement of 28 dealerships, far exceeding its original goal of 22 new dealerships by year-end—while achieving that feat six months earlier than expected.

“The trust of our dealer partners is an important part of Chery Auto Philippines’ continuous initiative to expand our dealership network not just in Metro Manila, but also in previously untapped urban and rural markets nationwide,” continued Sytin.

Chery Auto is set to open 9 more dealerships particularly in Fairview, Quezon City; Commonwealth, Quezon City; Pasay City; Bacolor, Pampanga; Subic, Zambales; Calasiao, Pangasinan; Lipa, Batangas; Gorordo, Cebu; and Kauswagan, Cagayan De Oro.

Emphasizing the dealers’ confidence in the Chery brand is the fact that none of the dealerships are new in the car industry. Most current Chery dealers are multi-brand operations and, combined, have over 50 years of automotive experience and employ over 1,000 employees under the Chery brand.

“Our relentless efforts are fast showing results, thanks to the unending confidence and commitment shown by our dealer partners. We will continue to be aggressive in terms of providing fun, fresh, and practical driving experiences, as well as bringing both state-of-the-art automobiles and dealerships closer to our customers,” Sytin added.
