Suzuki Auto PH Launches 2021 Ciaz For P 888k (w/ Specs)

Suzuki Philippines refreshes its sub-compact sedan, the Ciaz for 2021. Upping its game for this year, the updated Ciaz provides numerous improvements be it the newly designed exterior to the refurbished interior.

The new version of the Ciaz receives a new chrome grille and front bumper design. LED headlights and newly designed fog lamps with chrome accents complete the transformation.

Inside, the 2021 Ciaz benefits from a new 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Aside from smartphone connectivity, it also has USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The cabin is predominantly black (down to the fabric seats) with silver accents.

Suzuki’s tried-and-tested 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine continues for 2021. The K14B VVT engine delivers 91 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Interestingly enough, it’s only mated to a 4-speed automatic.

In terms of safety, the sole Ciaz GL variant gets dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, as well as a reverse camera.

Now available in three colors—Mineral Gray Metallic, Pure White Pearl, and Super Black Pearl, the 2021 Ciaz is priced at just P 888,000 which is P 50,000 more than the outgoing Ciaz GL.

  1. It's 2021 already and this thing still has a 4-speed a/t. xD

  2. I don't know what Suzuki is smoking lately. After releasing Vitara AWD that's hard to justify its price point given its lack of features compared to other cars in the bracket (Azkarra, Territory, Seltos, Corolla Cross, H-RV and XV) and now Suzuki released the Ciaz with a price that's so high yet lacking in other features aside from Apple Carplay/Android Auto. At more than Php150k lower, the Dzire, despite the lack of Carplay/Auto, has Hill start assist and ESP. Ciaz only has ABS/EBD.

    Suzuki, seriously?

    1. I agree. Suzuki PH's latest moves are pretty confusing. It's like they're taking the HARI route of sending in overpriced vehicles with underwhelming specs. I'm hoping Suzuki doesn't continue going down that path.
