Jaguar is leveling up its award-wining F-PACE by giving it standard Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology—the first in the segment to do so. With that, the mid-sized SUV is now made more efficient, luxurious, and connected.
Outside, the exterior design gives a cleaner, more assured presence with a wider power bulge on the hood as well as an enlarged grille with Jaguar’s heritage logo-inspired “diamond” detailing. New super slim all-LED headlights incorporate the “Double J” graphic, while at the side, the side fender vents now incorporate the Leaper emblem. At the back, the new tailgate adds visual drama while delivering a more confident appearance.
The 2021 Jaguar F-PACE features a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with Belt Integrated Starter Generator that harvests energy when slowing and braking. This energy is stored in a 48-volt lithium-ion battery that gives this SUV a more refined stop/start system or can be redeployed as additional power during acceleration. All in all, the F-PACE makes 199 horsepower at 4,250 rpm and 430 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm. The 8-speed automatic then routes the power through all four wheels via an intelligent all-wheel drive.
Inside, the F-PACE puts greater focus on refinement and connectivity. At the center is the new Pivi Pro infotainment system and its 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen interface. Traditional luxury is then catered by authentic finishes such as wood veneers and aluminum.
Like the XF, the F-PACE comes with a redesigned gear shifter with “cricket ball” stitching.
New door casings, featuring a new 360-degree grab handle, provide easier access and increased storage for drinks bottles and other items, while the electric window switches are moved down from the top of the door roll, putting them within easier reach of occupants.
Aside from offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, the F-PACE gets an interactive driver display. The configurable display can show full-screen navigation mapping with turn-by-turn instructions, digital dials, media, contact list, or infotainment details.
The F-PACE also has Active Road Noise Cancellation technology as well. This means quieter levels within the cabin and improved refinement that helps to reduce fatigue, commonly associated with prolonged exposure to low-frequency noise. Cabin occupancy is monitored, with the system continuously optimizing performance to deliver the best possible experience for everyone.
Jaguar’s latest 3D Surround Camera technology delivers advanced 3D functionality using the latest camera technology to deliver more detail and a choice of real-time viewing when maneuvering the vehicle.
The 2021 Jaguar F-PACE S is priced at P 5,590,000.
