You Can Now Order The Final Normally-Aspirated V12-Powered Lamborghini: The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae

Lamborghini is saying goodbye to its normally-aspirated V12 not with a whimper, but with a bang. Meet the 2022 Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae which will be made available in both coupe and roadster forms.

The 6.5-liter V12 in the middle of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae makes 780 horsepower—40 more than the Aventador S and 10 more than the SVJ. Thanks to an optimized variable valve timing and variable intake, the torque peaks at 720 Nm. Together with its automated manual 7-speed gearbox, 0 to 100 km/h is done in 2.8 seconds and top speed is at 355 km/h.

In terms of handling, the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae gets systems introduced in the Aventador S and SVJ such as the four-wheel steering, recalibrated stability control, and active aero. Forged 20 and 21 alloy wheels are standard, with carbon ceramic brakes peeking from inside. These brakes enable it to stop from 100 km/h in just 30 meters.

Only 350 coupes and 250 roadsters will be made, and it will come in a palette of 18 colors (more than 300 if owners wish to personalize them using the Lamborghini Ad Personam program).

Inside, the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae gets customizable TFT digital dashboard displays, Apple CarPlay, and even a telemetry system for those who regularly track their cars. Like its exterior, owners can specify their interior color and trim combinations.

From launch, the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae will be available globally for order except for Mainland China, South Korea, Vietnam, Brazil, and Chile. Yes, that means Lamborghini Manila is accepting orders for the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae.
