Honda didn’t have to wait very long. Right after it released the final chapter in the second-generation NSX supercar, they’ve just announced that one legendary nameplate is coming back: the Integra.
Not much is known about the all-new Integra, but Honda did confirm that it will be a “compact premium entrant” as well as staying true to the “same fun-to-drive spirit and DNA of the original.” Thankfully, it doesn’t sound like a crossover, and at least they didn’t farm out its engineering to another company (yes, we’re still ashamed of you, GR Supra).
It’s very likely that the all-new Integra will share its running gear with the 11th generation Civic, but will sport a three-door hatchback body style staying true to the original model which debuted way back in 1986.
Honda will release more information about the all-new Integra will be made available closer to its 2022 introduction.
