As the government tries to ramp up its vaccination drive against COVID-19, Hyundai Asia Resources has come up with an ingenious way to make these life-saving vaccines much more accessible: by transforming their County minibus into a mobile vaccination clinic.
The County minibus, known for its 29-seater capacity and large cargo space has been transformed to accommodate vaccination procedures. For that, the seats have been removed. In its place goes a clinical bed and storage for medical essentials and other healthcare goods including two units of portable Bio Ultra Freezers, two units of retractable tent (motorized), blood pressure (BP) apparatus, oxygen tank with regulator and humidifier.
Other optional and emergency equipment are also made available depending on the exact customer requirement.
More than just the cutting-edge equipment, the County meets the highest standards of performance, durability, and safety with Hyundai actually reinforcing the chassis to take on the most punishing terrains. Moreover, the electrostatic immersion process offers greater rust resistance as well.
Like the County minibus, the County vaccination clinic runs on a 140-horsepower, 372 Nm of torque common rail direct injection engine. It also has a Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) that selectively distributes hydraulic brake pressure between the front and rear wheels according to the weight distribution of the passenger load. The large-sized 9+10 tandem brake booster provides ample hydraulic brake pressure to significantly reduce brake pedal force for advanced safety of the passengers.\
For the month of September, the County vaccination clinic variant comes with a P 600,000 discount as part of the brand’s September-y Good deals.
