In what seems to be a response to a slew of new competitors coming out this month be it the new Nissan Terra or the all-new Isuzu mu-X, Toyota has quietly updated the Fortuner as well. And with it, comes a slight price increase on selected variants.
Frankly, most of the changes go unnoticed because they’re found in detail spec changes. Still, it does keep the best-selling 7-seater SUV fresh for 2021 and beyond.
Toyota is still keeping the total Fortuner variant count to six, although it’s rumored to be joined by the GR Sport version later in the month. As for pricing, it’s as follows:
- 2.4 4x2 G MT – P 1,633,000 (same price)
- 2.4 4x2 G AT – P 1,723,000 (same price)
- 2.4 4x2 V AT – P 1,827,000 (same price)
- 2.4 4x2 Q AT – P 2,018,000 (+ P 20,000)
- 2.8 4x2 LTD AT – P 2,280,000 (+ P 36,000)
- 2.8 4x4 LTD AT – P 2,440,000 (+ P 36,000)
- Dual Zone Front Climate Control – Q, LTD grades
- Upgraded Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) with Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert – LTD grades
- Hood Lift Assist - LTD grades
- Power Tailgate w/ Kick Sensor – LTD grades
- Wireless Charger - V, Q grades
- Rear USB Type-C Chargers – V, Q, LTD grades
Do you have the official spec sheet for the 2022 fortuner? Toyota PH website only updated their price but their offical brochure is from last year's release

ReplyDeleteToyota only "upgrades" its vehicles when it sees that the competition is giving more value for money. The funniest part is that Toyota is already more expensive to begin with, and gives practically zero tech amenities. And when it does upgrade it, also increases its price. Talk about adding insult to injured pockets.
ReplyDeleteWell said!
DeleteAre there any notable updates or new features for the 2022 Toyota Fortuner G AT variant?
ReplyDeleteFor now, G and V grades remain the same. It could be because they're running their current stocks out first?
DeleteHi. Fortuner V should not be included on the variants which has upgraded to dual-zone CC. Fyi. Only applies to LTD and Q as per official TMP memo
ReplyDeleteMakes sense because there's no price increase LOL. Thanks for the info though. We did ask TMP for their official memo, they haven't gotten back to us.
DeleteIs there adaptive cruise and other things just like what mu x has.
ReplyDeleteIt has adaptive cruise control.
DeleteWell for models equipped with Toyota Safety Sense.
