Vespa is fusing together its iconic timeless style with technology in the new 2021 Vespa Sprint S with TFT Dashboard.
The TFT or Thin-Film Transistor display not only offers improved gauge legibility and readability, but it also brings enhanced smartphone connectivity thanks to the VESPA MIA system.
The VESPA MIA and the new Vespa App are specifically designed to connect either iOS or Android mobile devices. Once a smartphone is connected to the system, it will show all notifications regarding incoming calls and messages in the center of the screen. The system also allows for the management of calls using a joystick located on the left-hand control block. The app can also display vehicle status, riding parameters, and travel stats.
Aside from the new TFT display, the 2021 Vespa Sprint S TFT edition is characterized by a dedicated diamond-shaped saddle, brand-new body stickers, new wheels (matte black or bronze), and new finishing colors.
Speaking about colors, the Vespa Sprint S TFT is available in two colors: Bronzo Antico and Nero Opaco.
The Vespa Sprint S continues to be characterized by its rectangular headlight, now with LED lighting for both front and back, and large 12-inch aluminum wheels.
The 2021 Vespa Sprint S is driven by a one-cylinder four-stroke 150-cc iGet engine. The air-cooled 3-cylinder EFI engine makes 9.5 kw (12.9 horsepower) at 7,750 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It features a barometric sensor in its control yet that helps it deliver steady levels of power and torque under all conditions and altitudes.
The 2021 Vespa Sprint S TFT Edition is now available at all Vespa dealerships with a SRP of P 245,000.
