Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the number one motorcycle brand in the country introduces an upgraded version of its dual-sports adventure bike—the 2022 CB500X.
The all-new CB500X is set to quench every rider’s thirst for adventure with its highway legal 471-cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC parallel twin engine capable of 47.5 horsepower (35 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 43.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Boasting of excellent fuel economy (27.8 km/L) and a 17.7-liter fuel tank, it makes for a great package for both on- and off-road adventures.
The middleweight adventure tourer (curb weight is about 199 kilograms) has an 834 mm seat height making it great for first-time riders.
It also has a new upside down or inverted front fork and new dual disc front brakes. The CB500X also has larger (19-inch) aluminum wheels for added stability and handling. This dual-sport bike features a more balanced suspension trip on pavement and dirt with its Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD Forks front suspension and Prolink Mono with a 5-stage pre-load adjuster, steel hollow cross swing arm rear suspension.
The 2022 CB500X strikes aggressive with its two eye-catching colors—Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. Both come with a suggested retail price of P 380,000.
