The Isuzu D-MAX was just launched early this year in the Philippines, but in Thailand it’s already gotten its first refresh.
Frankly, the differences are purely cosmetic and they won’t be missed if you just got your pickup truck recently.
The changes for 2022 include a revised front grille with thinner “fangs.” They are still finished in high-gloss black (Isuzu calls it black chrome), and they complement the new 18-inch alloy wheel design still finished in matte black. A new color, Gray Opaque joins the line-up too.
Inside, the seats have been changed from the current brown to a two-tone black/brown one with contrast stitching; that same treatment is also found on the steering wheel. The previous brown soft dash topper is now black, while the high-gloss black trim is now brown.
In Thailand, the updates don’t come free. They add about 15,000 Thai Baht or around P 22,530 to the D-MAX’s suggested retail price.

I think this facelift of Isuzu D-Max will arrive in the Philippines by Fourth Quarter of 2022.

ReplyDeleteRear lockers are available in other countries, but Isuzu PH removed the feature for AT variants locally saying people "don't know what rear lockers are for." Or at least that's what their FGDs say.
DeletePeople are not after the looks only nowadays, getting rid of rear locker for top variant is a no for me. very dissapointed.
