The Mitsubishi L300 secures a 158 percent sales increase for the month of September helping solidity Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ position as the second best-selling automotive brand.
The commercial van sold a total of 1,038 units—topping its August performance by 636 units. This accounts for about 35 percent of MMPC’s sales in September.
The Xpander also continued to be the best-selling MPV, selling 630 units—a 153 percent growth compared to August.
Overall, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) generated a 107 percent sales increase, or a total of 2,918 units sold for the month of September.
“We are very thankful for the strong September sales that we were able to achieve. We appreciate the continuous support that we secure from our customers. MMPC would like to commend its dealer network for the solid performance and strong partnership that they provide. We aim to sustain the momentum towards the end of the year,” said Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.
The newly-launched Mirage G4 managed to move 470 units, while the Strada sold a total of 455 units. Not far behind is the Montero Sport with 325 units sold.
