The all-new 2022 Celerio exudes a more dynamic stance thanks to its new 3D organic sculpted design. The sweeping front headlights, droplet-style taillights, and new signature grille give it a more unique look. Front fog lamps, side-mirror turn signal indicators, and black 15-inch alloy wheels are other available features further adding to its curb appeal.

Inside, the all-new Celerio continues with the same 3D organic sculpted design. The twin-slot center AC vents feature chrome accents, while the barrel-type side air vents offer a bit of sportiness to the sub-B-segment mini. AGS-equipped variants also have a new gear shift lever design.

Comfort and convenience features of the 2022 Celerio include a segment-first push-start system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats.

Riding on the HEARTECT platform, the all-new Celerio is bigger with enlarged shoulder and leg room. Luggage space has also been improved.

Powering the 2022 Celerio is Suzuki’s K10C engine. The 998-cc (1-liter) 3-cylinder engine features the brand’s Dual Jet technology. Coupled with dual variable valve timing and segment-first idle start-stop, the Celerio offers up to 26.68 km/L making it the most fuel-efficient gas-powered car in India.

This next-generation K-series engine also features cooled EGR, an integrated exhaust manifold, and an auto tensioner system. All in all, power is rated at 66 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. A 5-speed manual is standard, but Suzuki’s clutchless manual, the AGS or Auto Gear Shift, is also available.

Addressing concerns on safety, the all-new Celerio has upped its safety game. Its made of high-tensile steel enabling it to comply with all global crash safety regulations. Moreover, it comes with dual SRS airbags as standard, while AGS-equipped models come with hill hold assist.
