Chrysler Ends Production For Right-Hand Drive Markets

Chrysler is ending production of right-hand drive vehicles. This comes as the Stellantis (formerly FCA) brand marks its departure from Australia—the sole remaining right-hand drive market for the American brand.

The global push towards electrification and focus on SUVs has resulted in a consolidation of the overall product lineup in Australia, says Stellantis.

The last remaining Chrysler products—the 300 SRT and 300C will be phased out by the end of the year.

However, the American carmaker remains committed to right-hand drive markets. Aside from offering the Wrangler, Gladiator, and Compass, Jeep will also make the Grand Cherokee L and plug-in hybrid Grand Cherokee 4xe available in right-hand drive by next year.
