Marvel Studios’ Eternals centers on an exciting new team of superheroes who have secretly lived on Earth for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.
To mark this anticipated release, Lexus has partnered with Marvel Studios to produce a unique short film called Parking Spot, starring Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo. It was directed by the Russo brothers, who helmed four Marvel Studios films including Avengers: Endgame, one of the highest-grossing films of all time. In the two-minute piece, Kingo has to solve a very human problem before he can join the epic superhero battle happening downtown: finding a safe parking spot for his new Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance, the most powerful IS ever, with a 472-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 engine.
To complement this short film, a fleet of 10 Eternals-inspired vehicles were created to show that exciting collaborative storytelling can extend even beyond traditional media as well. These can be found on a special microsite on the Lexus web page.
In the Philippines, the release of Eternals is partnered with a special event that is grounded closer to real life. From November 26 to 28, 2021, special deals can be had on the Lexus IS sport sedan, Lexus UX crossover, and Lexus LM luxury minivan that will be displayed at the Greenbelt 5 Walkway in Makati.
Visit the Lexus and Eternals mall display this weekend to see these vehicles up close and to take advantage of these special deals in commemoration of the movie’s release.
