The country’s premier community of more than 2,600 Mitsubishi Xpander MPV owners celebrates three years of camaraderie, bonding, and unity as Club Xpander Philippines (CXP) commemorates its third year anniversary.
Composed of a varied mix of members from all walks of life, CXP continues to grow and accept business owners, entrepreneurs, families, and employees into its fold. True to the vehicle its owners champion, the club is constantly expanding and spreading the spirit of family to a growing number of Mitsubishi Xpander owners in the country.
Despite the health and social restrictions imposed in the past year, the club has continued to endure and flourish. “Club Xpander Philippines keeps getting stronger and stronger,” shares CXP co-founder, Jimmy Virador. “We continue to keep our group page healthy and our group chats active”, he adds.
Along with keeping the club’s bonds strong through online chats and mini-eyeball gatherings, its members were also involved in charity events that kept them busy the past year. “We did relief and outreach operations after typhoon Ulysses hit the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela,” says Virador.
The CXP relief expedition was led by members based in the two flood-ravaged provinces. With Metro Manila-based club members collecting and sending P 60,000 worth of food items, goods and pre-loved clothing, Club Xpander Philippines was able to help residents of the provinces affected by the calamity.
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation, shows its appreciation for Club Xpander Philippines with its unrelenting support for its activities. “More than just our valued customers, members of CXP are some of the best ambassadors we have now for the brand,'' says Mark Parulan, Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing of MMPC.
“We commend the club and its members for their passion and dedication to promote the Mitsubishi Xpander to more people around the country. They see and experience for themselves the true value of the Mitsubishi Xpander. MMPC will continue to support them and their activities as we wish them more power in the years to come,” adds Parulan.
At least 51,762 Mitsubishi Xpanders have been sold in the Philippines as of October this year since its introduction in May 2018. It is currently the best-selling MPV in the Philippine market. Designed to be easy to drive and convenient to ride in, the Mitsubishi Xpander has proven to be the ideal vehicle for growing and expanding Filipino families and businesses across the country.
This year, Mitsubishi Motor Philippines added a fourth variant to the Xpander range: the Xpander Black Series. It joins the GLX MT, GLS AT, and Xpander Cross.
