Ford Territory Sales Hit 8,000 Unit Mark In The Philippines

The Ford Territory officially marked its 8,000th sales milestone in the Philippines last November, proving its continued popularity among Filipino SUV buyers fifteen months since its launch in August last year and just four months after it hit the 5,000 unit mark.

As one of Ford Philippines’ top-selling vehicles for over a year now, the Ford Territory has maintained a steady following and growing preference among young professionals and starting families looking for an all-in-one small SUV.

Launched last year, the Ford Territory made its presence felt in the small SUV category as a feature-packed SUV that combines design, technology, and functionality.

“From the 5,000th customer milestone last July to achieving the 8,000th customer milestone shortly after, this is truly an outstanding feat and would not be possible without the immense support from our customers, dealers, partners, and employees,” says Michael Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines. “The Territory has become a familiar sight on Philippine roads, and we are very excited to see more Filipino customers enjoy driving a smart, safe, stylish, and feature-packed SUV.”

For the whole month of December, customers who purchase the Ford Territory can get free 3-year scheduled service plan (SSP) as part of Ford’s Year-End Sale deals and offers.

  1. I think Ford Group Philippines must partner with Volkswagen Philippines for the formation of the new company that will focus to manufacturing of the Crossovers here in our country and for Export Markets. Particularly the Territory and the upcoming Volkswagen Taos.

    1. Electricity costs here is one of the most expensive in the region. Some multinational companies had to resort to getting a law passed for them to get preferential rate but when admin changes that concession can be voided.

    2. Sadly, even with a plethora of info online and would've not taken these 8,000 noobs more than a few seconds to find out what kind of crap this car is for the money. I actually advised a friend planning to buy this garbage to buy a 2 YO second hand cx5 diesel instead. Youre welcome.

    4. Try driving it. It has all the bells and whistles for sure, but everything else about it is terrible.

The body structure feels like porridge, the power doesn't inspire confidence, the ergonomics are all over the place.

Basically, it's a poorly executed cash grab from Ford. Badged with a blue oval but doesn't have the same level of engineering as other vehicles in their line-up such as the Ranger or Everest.

    5. The casual person would think that a floaty ride is comfortable...but it's not. Driven in the city/short distances, it'll be fine...but once you take it out of town, it's a recipe for car sickness. My front passenger actually felt sick in the Territory Titanium I tested and this was just after about an hour and a half of driving.
