Premium Warranty Services Philippines, Inc. (PWSPI), is now offering inspection services to individuals looking for an additional peace of mind when buying new.
While their main focus has usually been secondhand car dealers, financial institutions, and online portals, those who transact with private sellers can also avail of Premium Inspection and have any used car on sale checked. PWSPI will evaluate a vehicle’s exterior, interior, undercarriage, engine, and on-board devices (OBD), looking for faults, signs of previous repair, accidents, and flooding.
This on-demand service can be booked through PWSPI, available from Mondays to Saturdays during regular work hours. A surveyor can be dispatched to any point in Metro Manila where the vehicle is located for a minimal service fee of P 2,600.00.
In less than half a year, PWSPI has already achieved a milestone of inspecting over 1,000 used cars in the market. All these have undergone a 188-point inspection that covers major mechanical and electrical components to help inform customers on the vehicle’s true condition before they make a purchase.
Inspected secondhand cars can easily be identified as they are affixed with a Premium Inspected sticker on the front or back windshield which certifies that it has passed through PWSPI’s stringent 188-point inspection. An inspection report can also be viewed by the buyer upon request. These inspected vehicles can now be found in over 100 used car dealers around Metro Manila.
By partnering with the country’s leading online classifieds Carousell, PWSPI-inspected vehicles can now also be found online. Listed vehicles on the platform carry an “Inspected” badge, with a direct link to the inspection report. To make the search for a quality used car even more convenient, Carousell has added “Inspected Cars” as a search filter as well as creating a dedicated section under Carousell Autos Inspected.

Buyers can have peace of mind and confidence when purchasing a vehicle from PWSPI. Vehicles that passed the inspection criteria are eligible for a 1-year or 2-year warranty coverage.
Warranty is offered on vehicles aged 10 years below or with a mileage of no more than 150,000 kilometers at the point of purchase. It can cover either the Engine & Transmission only or a Comprehensive Warranty that covers over 200 parts. Prices start at P 5,100 which is a worthwhile investment as owners can claim for various parts defects.
A number of vehicles currently advertised on Carousell have passed PWSPI’s rigid inspection process and these certified pre-owned cars can now be purchased from accredited used car dealers and are searchable through Carousell’s “Eligible for Warranty” filter.
