Sir Uly, why does VW Phils only have 8 dealerships, while Kia Phils has many more, considering that they are under the same company? This lack of dealerships most likely contribute to lackluster sales..
ReplyDelete- Mark J.
Those are the Kia dealerships under CAC..Kia is selling overpriced but still selling well products like the K2500,Soluto and Stonic.
DeleteNumber of Volkswagen dealerships in Manila are reduced due to some of them converted into Maxus and Kia dealerships.
VW selling 2012-2014 circa vehicles - Santana, Lavida, Lamando. We are dumping grounds of old china made vehicles.
ReplyDeletetrue, demand is probably still not enough.....pero sana at least Ayala brought in updated models, especially the Lavida (we're stuck in 2nd gen, the 3rd gen has been sold since 2018 :/
Deletethe Santana and Lamando to be fair are kinda current (the Lamando has just been updated this year so hopefully VW PH will introduce the 2nd gen soon, and the Santana is being discontinued.
Bring back the Polo :P (Or actually I'm going to assume the T-Cross will be the replacement for the Santana....)
T-Cross with turbo please.

Volkswagen Philippines won't sell here the Volkswagen Lavida Plus due to its price near the entry level Lamando..Older Lavida is cheaper to import and sell..Volkswagen Polo for Chinese market isn't meant for export markets and it'll be hard to sell as it'll clash with the T-Cross.
ReplyDeleteVolkswagen Philippines really needs the Tharu/Taos SUV this year.
