All-Electric Audi e-tron Now In Philippine Showrooms

Audi Philippines is starting its charge towards electric-power mobility with the arrival of the Audi e-tron SUV at local showrooms.

Among the defining features of the Audi e-tron SUV’s styling are a Singleframe grille with a central element finished in platinum gray, digital Matrix LED headlights with the e-tron signature daytime running lights, black inserts in the sill area that visualize the central location of the vehicle’s battery, and a wide rear diffuser that highlights the absence of exhaust pipes. The e-tron logo on the model’s charging flap also stands out in signal orange.

In the cabin, a large arc that stretches across the expansive instrument panel emphasizes the Audi e-tron SUV’s advanced in-car digitization. Floating above the center tunnel is the hand rest with integrated shifter. Two large MMI touch response displays, replacing nearly every conventional switch and control, are angled toward the driver. With the standard Audi virtual cockpit, the driver can choose between two views in high-resolution graphics.

Powering the Audi e-tron SUV are two electric motors outputting 408 horsepower and 664 Nm, allowing the vehicle to sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds. A new generation electric quattro all-wheel drive provides superlative traction and handling on any terrain and condition. The system continuously varies the distribution of torque between the two axles.

The Audi e-tron SUV can cover as much as 484 kilometers on a single charge (according to WLTP tests). It can be charged with alternating current (AC) at up to 22 kW, with various home charging solutions available. The standard mobile charging system can be used with either a household outlet or an industrial three-phase outlet.

Along with the Audi e-tron SUV, also presently available in Audi Philippines’ showrooms are the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT.

Demonstrating how exciting electric mobility can be are the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT four-door coupes. Both models combine fascinating design with a powerful drive, dynamic handling, and a long range. They have long wheelbases and wide tracks, large wheels and flat rooflines. Every detail of their aesthetics arise from efficiency—from the headlights, powerful quattro blisters, wheels, and to the large diffuser at the rear. To reduce weight, the models’ outer skin is made entirely from aluminum.

The interior of the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT is airy, offering the ambiance of a classic gran turismo. Like in all Audi models, it is extensively connected, with displays and controls operated via the digital Audi virtual cockpit plus that is accessed through the multifunction steering wheel and the central MMI touch display.

Both the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT have two electric motors, each of which mounted on the cars’ front and rear axles to create an electric quattro all-wheel drive system. The Audi e-tron GT’s motors produce 530 horsepower and 630 Nm. The Audi RS e-tron GT delivers 646 horsepower and 830 Nm, making it the most powerful production model Audi has ever made.

Located on the front fenders of the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT are charging points for either AC or direct current. Home charging solutions can fully recharge an empty battery overnight. With a fully charged battery, the Audi e-tron GT can travel as much as 500 kilometers while the Audi RS e-tron GT can cover up to 481 kilometers (according to WLTP tests).

Audi Philippines supports the fully electric e-tron range with groundbreaking electromobility initiatives. These include setting up dedicated service facilities for electric vehicles, installing chargers in key destinations, and ensuring home charging solutions that make driving an e-tron SUV, e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT become as seamless and convenient as using any digital mobile device.
