Thanks partly to Toyota grappling with a global supply issue surrounding its Land Cruiser 300, Nissan has managed to set records for its Patrol in one of its key markets.
In 4x4 crazy Australia, for example, Nissan managed to move 3,264 examples of its capable four-wheel drive SUV. This is the highest number ever sold since 2008. Moreover, just as Toyota launched the all-new LC300 over there, the Patrol managed its best monthly sales ever with 612 units sold in a single month (September 2021).
In the Middle East, yet another key market for the Patrol, Nissan sold over 20,000 units during the company’s 2020 Fiscal Year. This resulted in a 32.2 percent growth within its segment. Results for Fiscal Year 2021 are not available yet.
With the LC300 still in short supply, Nissan has made it a point to give the Patrol a slight refresh for 2022 (see lead photo).
The 2022 Patrol now sports the new Nissan logo and a larger, squarer fender vent design.
For the Philippine market, Patrol stocks are expected to arrive at showrooms this month for P 4,548,000. Check out the full specs here.
