Chevrolet PH Now Taking Reservations For P 4.749M 2022 Tahoe SUV

With the demise of the Ford Expedition, those looking for a full-sized American SUV will only have one choice now, and that’s with the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The all-new Tahoe is substantially larger than its predecessor thanks to its switch to a rear independent suspension. With that, it lowers the rear floor area and lift-in height for increased cargo room while enabling Chevrolet to mount the rear-most seats higher for improved comfort. It’s also 170 longer than before, with 124 mm of that ending up between the front and rear wheels.

Style-wise, the 2022 Tahoe has a black grille with active shutters and an integrated skid plate that’s part of the Z71 styling package. At each corner are 20-inch machined alloy wheels fitted with all-season tires.

Despite the availability of a diesel powertrain, Chevrolet Philippines has opted instead for the tried-and-tested 5.3-liter V8. The Ecotec engine generates 355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 518 Nm of torque from 4,100 rpm. Shifting duties is handled by a 10-speed automatic. Also standard on the Tahoe is an automatic four-wheel drive system. It also has Magnetic Ride Control and Adaptive Air Suspension as standard.

Inside, the Tahoe benefits from Chevrolet’s next-generation electrical architecture. The infotainment is accessible via a 10-inch touchscreen, while the driver benefits from an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Other amenities include a 9-speaker Bose sound system, 10-way power adjustable front seats, power folding rear seats, wireless device charging, and a tri-zone climate control system.

In terms of safety, the 2022 Tahoe comes with a 360-degree camera, forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, following distance indicator, lane keep assist, lane change assist with side blind zone alert, and clearance sensors with reverse camera.

The 2022 Tahoe 4x4 Z71 is priced at P 4,749,888 is now available for pre-order at all authorized Chevrolet dealerships nationwide.
