A smart driver is a safe driver. You observe local road safety rules and keep to your maintenance schedule. You also make sure that your vehicle of choice is equipped with, at the very least, the basics in modern safety technology.
While budget nowadays is of prime consideration in buying a new vehicle, Changan’s New CS35 Plus is pulling surprise punches in this department with “Safe-tech,” a comprehensive safety and protection system consisting of thoughtful active safety features over and above these basics:
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) paired with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) to prevent loss of steering control and skidding? Check. Airbags that automatically deploy in the event of a collision? Check. Electronic stability control (ESC) to help regain control of the car? Check. Hill Hold Control (HHC) and Hill Descent Control (HDC) for ease in moving up and down the steepest slopes? Check. Tire Pressure Monitoring to keep tabs on those wheels? Check. Child safety locks and ISOFIX to safely restrain toddlers? Check.
Safe-tech in the New CS35 Plus gives you all that, and more. Available as standard on the CS35 Plus Hype and Luxe variants are the following:
- Front Collision Warning (FCW) gives the driver visual alerts on the digital instrument display, and sets off an alarm to brake when the system detects risk of collision with the vehicle in front.
- Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) supplements the driver’s brake force during emergency situations.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) uses a built-in radar to detect the motion of the vehicle in front and provide information to actively adjust and decrease or increase your vehicle’s speed accordingly.
The advanced 6-Airbag System comprised of front and side driver and passenger seat airbags, and front to rear side air curtains help reduce injury to occupants in the event of a collision.
The cabin itself is engineered with Changan’s ultra-high strength body frame that maintains rigidity while mitigating the impact force to its crumple zone areas to create a safe cabin for occupants.
Best of all, the New Changan CS35 Plus is available in three variants at these introductory prices: Lite (1.4L 7DCT) P 898,000; Hype (1.4L 7DCT) P 969,000; and Luxe (1.4L 7DCT) P 999,000.
Tech- and price-wise, the next-gen iteration of Changan’s top-selling subcompact SUV offers advanced safety technology in one neat bundle so that you can enjoy the freedom to be confident, wherever you go.
Catch the New CS35 Plus and experience the promise of spirited mobility at the Manila International Auto Show. Visit the Changan Limitless Pavilion at the World Trade Center from April 7-10, 2022.
Changan's tie up with Hyundai Ph Forecast - Increase prices within 1 month, impose mandatory additional fees, such as insurance, exorbitant shipping costs and other premiums/fees - LTO and tint.... especially on provincial buyers.
ReplyDeleteForecast before the year ends - strip current models of some of their tech and safety features and then increase prices by another 8-10 grand.
Good luck Changan. I recommend you hold your prices. Gain traction and best of all, stay away from Hyundai Ph. Don't identify or associate yourself with a brand/distributor that has no problem selling a hideous car for 798k (Accent) (steel wheels, manual transmission) without any airbags. But I do think it comes with a CD player and radio.
Hope Changan Philippines will extend the introductory prices beyond April 15, 2022.
ReplyDeleteI doubt they'll hold on into it or make it permanent. And if they did, somehow they'll gouge you on aftersales.
DeleteIf the former handler of Hyundai passenger cars have the absolute gall to sell you ridiculously underspecced and overpriced cars, then do not get shocked if they'll employ the same tactics. You'll be basically bleeding money owning their cars.
Yah hyundae bleed car owners by requiring pms evry 5k
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, so does Toyota, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Kia.
DeleteThe TOTL model is discounted by 170k.... would you believe that this SUV will cost almost 1.2M and they are doing an introductory price of 999k? Total BS. Why not just price this correctly. The SRP in China of the TOTL is 110k yuan which is 888k. In that sense this is already overpriced considering this is a China-made car.
ReplyDeleteIf the introductory price don't Last long SUV buyers will sway still to either Geely CoolRay or MG ZST or HS consumers. The Chief Lady of CHANGAN doesn't how to play the vehicle market.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Hope Changan Ph will extend the introductory prices way beyond April 15.
ReplyDeleteMaybe history is repeating itself...hari hyundae then n changan now. Lessons not learned???
