Hennessey, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator, has started building its biggest ever truck, the 7,188-millimeter-long Hennessey Mammoth 1000 6x6 TRX.
At almost seven feet high (2,134 mm) and 88 inches (2,235 mm) wide, the enormous 6x6 pickup truck lords over ordinary cars and trucks. Moreover, it has the power to match its presence. Hennessey’s engineers boosted the performance of the RAM TRX on which the Mammoth is based off by more than 300 horsepower to 1,012 horsepower. It also gets a 433 Nm lift in torque bringing the total to 1,314 Nm. The performance was unlocked thanks to a high-flow 2.65-liter supercharger and upgrades to its fuel injectors and performance-boosting calibration.
Alongside performance upgrades, the new truck features a mountain of off-road kit from locking rear axles and Bilstein suspension, to 20-inch wheels clad in 37-inch off-road tires. The 6x6 Mammoth builds on the base RAM TRX by adding a third axle.
Priced from USD 449,950 (P 23.6 million) inclusive of the donor RAM TRX, the Mammoth 6x6 features uprated front and rear bumpers and a dazzling array of LED lights alongside a bespoke interior, which adds to the exclusivity of this special vehicle.
