2023 Ford Everest May See Substantial Price Increase When It Launches In The Philippines

Update: Ford Philippines has revealed the official pricing of the all-new Everest and Ranger (7/8).

Brace yourselves. Just as Ford hiked the price of its all-new 2023 Ranger, they’re doing the same with their next-generation Everest as well.

If the Philippines follows the pricing of the Australian market, get ready to pay roughly AUD 2,900 (P 104,827) to AUD 3,200 (P 115,671) more compared to the current Everest. With Ford Philippines already confirming two trims for the Everest—the Sport and the Titanium+, expect the Sport to breach the P 2-million mark (current price: P 1,928,000), while the Titanium+ will go up to past P 2.4-million (current price: P 2,299,000).

By comparison, these price hikes are much more substantial compared to the Ranger which saw its pricing go up just AUD 1,000 to AUD 2,000 (P 38,400 to P 76,800).

According to details already released by Ford Philippines, The Everest Sport features a blacked-out exterior trim that extends all the way to the 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels. Inside, it gets a 10.1-inch LCD portrait-style touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster.

Meanwhile, the Everest Titanium+ will continue to sit as the top-trim model and this version gets lots of chrome accents from the grille to the side mirrors and even the door steps. At all four corners, it’ll ride on machine face 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it’ll have full digital instrumentation and an even larger 12-inch center infotainment system. Ebony (black) leather seats are standard, but depending the color, customers can also opt for the Praline-colored ones.

It's very likely that the Everest Sport will be the 4x2 variant and with that, it’ll come powered by a single-turbo 2.0-liter engine making 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Titanium+ will be the sole 4x4 variant, and will come with a bi-turbo 2.0-liter good for 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The single-turbo is mated to a 6-speed automatic, while the bi-turbo gets the much-feted 10-speed automatic.

Given the added technology, do you think this price increase is justified for the all-new Everest, or do you wish Ford would reel in their pricing to match that of the current-generation models?

  1. It depends once we see the safety and tech. Unlike the totl of mux which is too much for 2.5m.

  2. Hoping Ford Ph will release the v6 diesel during it's initial launch or make another model and make it the platinum variant. The biturbo for 4x4 everest is not enough. It maybe a little bit more efficient but fuel consumption is not one of the key points why we buy this kind of vehicle especially when you consider your target market. One of my reason why i sold our ranger raptor is because the 2.0 biturbo is anemic and it does not makes you feel you are driving a performance pickup. It is a good pickup but not the engine. Hoping Ford Ph will release the v6 twin turbo gasoline ranger raptor because i have changed my reservation when i found out that the everest they will release is not the v6 diesel 🥳

  3. They will release the Sport and Titanium variant in Q4 2022.
Trend and Ambiente (Php 1.6M-1.9M) will follow in Q2 or Q3 2023.

At those price points for the Sport and Titanium (USD $40k-50k / Php 2M-2.5M) mga upper middle class and upper class lang makakabili na may malaking ipon. Yung malalaki sweldo sa corp or mga fams na may mga businesses na matagal na nag operate and profitable.

  5. It may be quite a loss to a Titanium owner if all ICE cars are deemed illegal in 5yrs time...

  6. Car prices are getting out of control. Pretty soon only the truly affluent could afford one. I'm expecting an automotive crash in the next decade.

    1. It all depends on the upgrade of safety feature and technology. With a change of looks but almost the same engine as the old one will be known if the price is right

    2. That's better. So less car will be available on the road. Problem now is we dont have any good public transpo.
