BMW is giving its 3 Series a refresh this 2023, and brings with it updates to its design as well as added interior technology and convenience features.
The 2023 BMW 3 Series features a new, but still modestly-sized kidney grille and slimmer full LED headlights. Inside the kidney grille itself, modified contours and a double bar design lends a more powerful look. High-gloss black air intakes positioned at the trailing edge of the bumper give the brakes better cooling. At the back, a new bumper and slimmer light units accentuate its muscular stance. The tailpipes have been enlarged as well.
Inside, the 2023 BMW 3 Series gets a comprehensive update. Headlining it is the standard-fit BMW Curved Display. Here, a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a control display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches merge together into a single fully digital and high-resolution unit.
The selector lever for the eight-speed Steptronic transmission also has a new design. It’s positioned in the control panel on the center console along with the Start/Stop button, iDrive Controller, Driving Experience Control buttons, parking brake and other vehicle functions.
An automatic climate control system with three-zone adjustment is fitted as standard. The climate functions are operated by voice command or touch via the control display. Other new additions to the standard specification include an automatically dimming rear-view mirror and parking sensors for both the front and back.
In terms of safety, standard now the 2023 BMW 3 Series is autonomous emergency braking, cruise control with brake function, and lane departure warning with lane return.
The 2023 BMW 3 Series will go on sale by July to August of this year in Europe first. Global deliveries will follow later this year.
