More and more Mazda vehicles stand to benefit from their new signature color—Rhodium White Premium. The newest special color after Soul Red Crystal and Machine Gray Metallic, it replaces Snowflake White on the 2023 CX-5.
First launched on the CX-60, Rhodium White Premium is a pure white color inspired by Japanese aesthetics which finds beauty in simplicity and the absence of superfluous elements. The paint’s fine grain accentuates the shadows on the surface of the vehicle complimenting the metallic texture of the new color.
Mazda, who considers color as an integral part of vehicle design feels the new shade perfectly fits the re-designed CX-5. For 2023, the CX-5 takes on elements of the evolved Kodo design including Yohaku or ma—the beauty of empty space; sori—curves with poise and balance; and utsoroi—the play of light and shadow.
The rest of the CX-5 is carried over from before, including its award-winning safety (it’s the only compact SUV to receive a “Good” rating in the U.S.-based IIHS side-impact test) and an available 253-horsepower, 2.5-liter turbocharged engine.
The U.S. is the first market to receive the new special color, but expect it to also be made available for other markets, including the Philippines, at a later time.
Gorgeous unique paintjob
