Aston Martin Manila Confirms Arrival Of Vantage F1 Edition, DBX707 Before Year-End

Even if you weren’t the lucky one to score the 1 of 150 Valkyrie hypercars, don’t worry. Aston Martin Manila revealed that two other high-performance vehicles will make their way into the country before the end of the year: the Aston Martin DBX707 SUV and the Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition.

“Aston Martin is tired of being a runner-up when it comes to performance,” revealed Marc Tagle, President of Aston Martin Manila. “With these two new vehicles, we can finally say that we’re at the pinnacle of performance.”

Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition

Already being cleared at local customs, the Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition celebrates the British brand becoming co-suppliers for Formula 1’s safety and medical cars since last year.

Developed side-by-side with the Vantage safety car, the Vantage F1 Edition comes with a comprehensive aero kit giving it an additional 200 kilograms of downforce at top speed. These comprise a full-width front splitter, front dive planes, underbody turning vanes, and a new rear wing. Tire sizes have been increased from the standard 20 to 21 inches.

Underneath, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has been massaged adding 25 more horsepower (maximum 535 horsepower). Peak torque remains unchanged at 685 Nm. The accompanying 8-speed automatic has also been tweaked for reduced shift times and improved directness and precision. Moreover, the body and chassis have been stiffened to help sharpen turn-in and increase traction.

Inside, the Vantage F1 Edition expresses its performance with distinctive color and trim options, including one that celebrates the Aston Martin F1 team.

Aston Martin DBX707

For those who want something a bit more “practical,” there’s the DBX707. The world’s fastest, most powerful SUV is arriving before the year ends says Aston Martin Manila.

Dubbed a “saber in a segment of sledgehammers,” the DBX707 has, as its name implies, 707 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. This potent powerplant is connected to a 9-speed wet-type dual clutch gearbox giving it a 0 to 100 km/h of just 3.3 seconds. Other performance enhancements include standard carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers, a revised electronic limited slip differential, and standard air suspension with 22-inch alloy wheels.

Outside, the DBX707 gets a sportier profile with a larger grille and revised DRLs, new air intakes, brake cooling ducts, and front splitter. Over to the side, it gets dark satin chrome surrounds and a deeper side sill. Soft-close doors are a new feature here as well. To the back, it has a new rear bumper with integrated quarter panel vents, a new lip spoiler added the roof while at the bottom, it has a new diffuser system with large diameter quad exhaust pipes.

Inside, the DBX707 gets a revised lower console containing the new drive mode selection switches. Instead of combing through a menu within the infotainment system, there are now dedicated physical shortcut buttons to keep the driver always in control. Sport seats are standard with choices between Alcantara/leather or full semi-aniline leather.
