Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has reintroduced one of its most iconic nameplates, the Toyota Lite Ace, as a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) stepping in as the reliable business partner for Filipino business owners and entrepreneurs.

TMP is taking pride on the reach of its 72-strong dealership network nationwide to bring the all-new Lite Ace to more businesses in various industries across the country, especially in regions where efficient transportation is critical to the timely delivery of goods and services.
TMP’s entry into this new category is also boosted by Toyota products’ signature QDR (Quality, Durability, and Reliability) that suits the demands of MSMEs needing the most returns out of their every investment. This also translates to minimal downtimes for the vehicle, ensuring business continuity and avoiding time and financial losses or extra expenditures for repairs. With this, Toyota is assuring that the all-new Lite Ace is an easy-to-acquire vehicle, giving MSMEs ease when purchasing.
Through Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFSPH), TMP is offering the Lite Ace under unique financing packages that allow customers to acquire units under a weekly payment scheme with rates that go as low as P 2,903.50 per week (Pickup). The Lite Ace currently comes in two variants: the Pickup with an open bed for fast and flexible loading, and the Panel Van with sliding enclosure for a more secure cargo transport. Both the Pickup and Panel Van have heavy-duty and wide capacity, perfect for any heavy-load transportation needs.

DeleteAs funny as it sounds, having dual airbags, ABS, and stability control is a game changer in this class. Good to see Toyota PH not totally discard these safety features when majority of commercial vehicles from other brands in the Philippines completely forgo these basic safety features

DeleteProbably everything lol. L300, Carry, Traviz, Foton Harabas, the BAIC, etc etc. All are lacking in safety compared to the "new" lite ace ("new" because this was introduced way back in 2008 for other markets)
DeleteI just wonder why aren't there many commercial vehicles with front hood? Mostly are engines stacked at the bottom of the seats.

A lot less material is needed when the engine is underneath the driver because of the smaller dimensions, and despite the smaller dimensions, area capacity of the tray or van at the back is the size most small businesses want. Compared to Toyota's next LCV in their lineup, the Hilux FX with the engine at the front hood, the new Lite Ace, with the engine underneath driver, has a larger area at the back while costing much lower with compact overall dimensions
