  1. Very very good value for money unlike BMW's rival that puts too much screens and electronics then jack ups the prices. BMW is still the 👑

    1. Having said that, I do have to admit though that it really is quite remarkable based on my personal experience. What it lacks in features like Nappa leather or a 360° camera, it more than makes up for it in driving dynamics.

  2. I wouldn't call it value for money since pretty much all Euro cars here in PH are overpriced because of our local taxes. 1. But it nots “bmw”, which is the case for majority of the buyers.

    2. Folks who buy vehicles in this price range do not and will not bother cross-shopping them with the CX-5 🙃

    5. While Mazda has been trying to be a premium brand, it is still far from the level of the germans and lexus in terms of driving dynamics and tech, quality of materials, etc. besides, it will not be able to shake off its image as a mainstream brand like toyota. mazda should do what toyota did by creating lexus. hyundai recently did it with genesis.

    6. Anon 8:10AM - Have you even tried driving a Merc or a Bimmer? And I'm not talking about a test drive around the block. If you haven't, then please stop comparing them to your beloved Mazda, it's embarrassing.

    7. The fact that you suggested to buy a mazda over a bimmer clearly means that hindi para sayo yung price range and market ng BMW, Merc etc. It's like you go to a luxury site like LV/rolex then sasabihin mo na buy kipling/swatch kasi same purpose lang naman. Shitty comment

    8. Give it a rest, cx-5 competes with x1 in the first place.

    9. Mazda fanboys are delusional. Akala nila premium luxury brand sasakyan nila. Mazda marketing division really got into their heads.

    12. Nothing wrong with Mazda, I actually dig their exterior and interior design language. But to compare it to Mercedes Benz or BMW is laughable. If you can't afford a Euro, no need to bash them.

    13. 7:41 anon, finally, someone who really understands mazda, most people here are either salty because they cant afford a mazda or own a mazda and think its a premium

      Delete
    14. Granted, it's slightly more premium (especially in price) than most typical Japanese or Korean offerings but definitely not premium enough to go toe-to-toe with the Germans. Owners who think otherwise are just fooling themselves.

  4. compared to the q5 and glc, the x3 is way better value for money. the new lexus nx is quite cramped inside though cheaper. leaning towards the x3 lci.

    1. Yung 4.4m na nx marami features pero feel mo toyota parin. Rav4 na dinamitan ng maganda.

    2. what you are paying for over the RAV4 are the ff: badge; better NVH; infotainment system; AWD; driving dynamics; slightly better reliability. back in early June, my reservation for the entry level was not accepted by lexus bgc due to uncertainty abt the supply.

    3. BMW X3 better reliability than Toyota Rav4?

    4. comparison was between lexus nx and rav4

    5. @Ron, if you asked this question 10-15 years ago, hands down toyota. But today, I am not so sure.

    2. I think what he meant was, he's worried about the next generation x1 which has been launched globally last June 2022. The current gen x1 is around Php3.1M but the next gen x1 might be higher - i probably think it would jump to php3.6M or php3.7M. then the next gen x3 to be launched next year globally and not sure when in the Philippines would probably go up to php4.3M.

  7. Have both mazda and bmw. comparing the two depends what you prefer: NVM gas vs diesel, driving dynamics : japan vs german handling/tuning, value for money including maintenance cause mazda is the clear winner, level of stature - of course bmw

  8. This is a diesel right? Rather have this than the LC300 which has a very long waiting list. Mas mura pa.

    1. In all likelihood, people who buy this type of cars already have at least one or two 4-6 million peso SUVs sitting in their garage so the comparison is pointless. And yes, it's a diesel.

  9. Currently have a Mazda, a Lexus and a BMW, I can say that our BMW is more fun to drive and is more fuel efficient than our Mazda and Lexus. 1 full tank can last us for 3 weeks up to 1 month if purely city driving even with traffic, and the best part, the fun driving experience. Our Lexus is more comfortable in terms of ride comfort, it offers a sedate driving experience. Our Mazda is a bit more fuel efficient and more fun to drive than our Lexus and when it still had Yojin 3, the cheapest to maintain.
