Toyota Motor PH Bumps Up Specs, Prices Of Hilux For 2023

Toyota Motor Philippines has quietly updated its Hilux for the 2023 model year bringing with it additional spec and tech.

While the fleet-oriented J remains unchanged, the E now gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The G, meanwhile, now adds a tailgate assist (it makes opening and closing of the tailgate easier) and bedliner as standard. Moving up to the Conquest, both the 4x2 and 4x4 variants now add standard Toyota Safety Sense unlocking features such as autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alert. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Hilux GR Sport adds blind spot indicators with rear cross traffic alert, and rear AC vents.

As for colors, Nebula Blue Metallic, Orange Metallic, and Crimson Spark Red Metallic have been discontinued. These shades will be replaced by Oxide Bronze Metallic and Dark Blue Mica exclusively for the Hilux Conquest.

Naturally, the new feature-set means a higher price ranging from P 18,000 to P 49,000. Again, only the fleet-oriented models such as the cab & chassis, J, and E remain unchanged (they had a small price bump prior to this update). Also, the FX body without the rear AC option has been removed, probably to give the Lite Ace some breathing room.

  • Toyota Hilux 4x2 G MT – P 1,285,000
  • Toyota Hilux 4x2 G AT – P 1,361,000
  • Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x2 MT – P 1,468,000
  • Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x2 AT – P 1,544,000
  • Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x4 MT – P 1,844,000
  • Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x4 AT – P 1,919,000
  • Toyota Hilux GR Sport 4x4 AT – P 2,039,000

    1. Just admit you can't afford one..Leaf Spring Suspension is really needed on Hilux as its used for heavy loads.

    2. I don't need a pickup and pickup-based SUVs. I own 3 crossovers and owned before a Gen 2.5 Pajero and a Gas LC80. And you? you only have your Almera. LOL
