After supply chain issues bogged down its automotive production for the last couple of months, Toyota is seeing a recovery in production numbers for September through November.
In a statement, Toyota Motor Corporation sees its production numbers up to 850,000 units per month in September, gradually increasing that to about 900,000 units per month through November.
This plan, Toyota says, is based on careful confirmation of parts supply and the personnel structures and facility capacities of our suppliers.
The Japanese carmaker is sticking to its full fiscal year production forecast of around 9.7 million vehicles.
Having said that, three lines in one plant will see a production suspension in September. The Motomachi Plant will stop production of Toyota’s all-electric bZ4X as well as the Crown and Lexus LC for four days, while the GR Yaris (see lead photo) will see a production suspension totaling nine days.
This is only in Japan right, and factories outside Japan are not affected?
ReplyDeleteThere have been some production adjustments elsewhere, but only the Japanese plants give detailed breakdown of suspension plans.
DeleteHi Sir Uly, any news if mag rerelease pa ng local units dito ng GRY? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOfficially, it's not a limited production run model...so TMP can still place an order. The only problem is allocation. If you want one, the entire 2022 allocation (globally) has been spoken for. Chances are, you'll get it way into 2023 if you really wanted one.
DeleteAny Idea if we'lll get the GR Corolla?
DeleteThank you for the info sir!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Hopefully you can still get an allocation!
DeleteHopefully! Grabe benta ng mga re-seller for a unit. Plus 1M above SRP
ReplyDeleteHas Toyota solved the problem of the bZ4X's falling wheels already?
ReplyDeleteI wonder to know the same answer?
