After being discontinued after the 2019 model year, the GranTurismo is making a return next year as Maserati’s icon. The high-performance coupé is already traveling many miles, with a selected number of employees from the Maserati Family in the driving seat.

Prior to the reveal, Masearti has shown off the GranTurismo in this special livery. It is a hark back to the icon created 75 years ago with the A6 1500, a model considered to be the forerunner of a class of car that had never been seen before. It would go on to influence the automotive landscape all over the world, and successive generations of Maserati road cars.

The GranTurismo, Maserati says, combines a high-performance nature with characteristics that make it suitable for traveling long distances comfortably.

The idea came about after World War II, during the Italian economic boom, when Italy showed the world their outstanding products, strength, optimism, and carefree attitude. At that historic moment, Maserati solved an equation that appeared to be impossible: a new concept of luxury mobility, capable of bringing together performance and comfort.

The all-new 2024 Maserati GranTurismo aims to encapsulate those same philosophies, and it will remain as a 100 percent Made in Italy automobile.
